A whole lot of art worth taking a look at this weekend!

Los Angeles street style is still vibrant – looking back to 1973 and witnessing the trends of today, there will never be one single word that would single handedly encompass and categorize the unique looks of Angelenos. Well 35 years ago, LACMA commissioned 5 photographers to document Los Angeles street style – and now, the museum is re-staging this exhibit, 2008 style, with a multimedia late night event. History through fashion and photography – AWESOME!

LACMA is restaging the LA Flash project as a multimedia late-night event on September 6, 2008. Not only will the images from the 1973 exhibition play as outdoor projections, but Wireimage photographers will be on hand to document L.A. street style circa 2008. Images from the event (including, perhaps, your street style) will be posted here.

So that means tomorrow, if you attend, dress to impress in YOUR L.A. look to get your photo snapped by Wireimage to become a part of history!
