So here I am talking about the Democratic National Convention that is going on right now in Denver, Colorado after Vanessa and I were discussing it at work yesterday.
First thing’s first, OBAMA-BIDEN!Michelle Obama with the girls.

Even in today’s speech, Hilary has called for unification of the Democratic Party for the sake of the country’s future:
“Whether you voted for me, or voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose. We are on the same team, and none of us can sit on the sidelines. This is a fight for the future. And it’s a fight we must win together,” she said…
“No way. No how. No McCain. Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president,” Clinton said.

Some wise words were also said by Virginia Gov. Mark Warner in his keynote address:
“I know we’re at the Democratic convention, but if an idea works, it really doesn’t matter if it has an ‘R’ or ‘D’ next to it,” Warner said. “Because this election isn’t about liberal versus conservative. It’s not about left versus right. It’s about the future versus the past.” Word.

But really, I should be more up-to-date on these issues and developments of the Elections 2008 – but my worst nightmare for Barack’s candidacy became evident in a recent finding that I became aware of while browsing Perez Hilton. Keep reading to find out what – it’s super scary & extremely sad this would actually occur….

An Obama assassination attempt! AHH!!! NO! This is like a reality version of 24 and President David Palmer’s unfortunate assassination. But there is a connection between Palmer and Obama: See Haysbert: ’24’ role may have helped Obama

And not to forget, one of the culprits’ horrible resemblance to K-Fed!

UGH! I can’t believe that things like this would happen – but I guess it’s inevitable when change is brought about the status quo. We NEED this change, people! It’s the change necessary for a better tomorrow, for a better United States of America – and for this we need to all be just that – UNITED – in our fight for CHANGE!!! Si se puede!!!! Ah, go register to vote, people!
